Monrovia Community Emergency Response Training’s (CERT) next basic training is the first three Saturdays of February from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pre-registration is now open at Eventbrite.

The classes will cover emergency preparedness, fire suppression and safety, disaster medical operations, light search and rescue, disaster psychology, and team organization.

Only sign up if you can make all three days of class. For Monrovia residents and employees of Monrovia businesses, use the resident/business registration.

For everyone else, use the non-resident waitlist. All spots in the category (including spot one) are a waitlist. Waitlisted parties will be invited in registration order to the course the week before the class, if there are spots open. Suzanne Dobson, emergency preparedness coordinator, can usually accommodate most or all of the waitlist.
