Looking for a safe way to celebrate Halloween? Take the munchkins to Monrovia’s Library Park next Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. for the city’s annual free Halloween Bash. There will be a costume contest for youth, adults, groups, families, and even the family dog.  There will be all sorts of activities and even a photo booth (including a special area for toddlers). Special activities will also be held in the library.

The best part of the bash is the trick-or-treating among the merchants on Myrtle Avenue. This is sponsored by Monrovia Old Town Advisory Board. Map of participating merchants will be available in Library Park. There will also be posters in the windows of participating merchants.
