New Monrovia City Manager Has His First Day at the Helm

By Susan Motander

Monrovia’s new city manager, Dylan Feik, had his first day of work on Tuesday, Oct. 22. He said of it, “It was great!” Originally not scheduled to start his new job until mid-November, Feik said he wanted to get down to it as soon as possible.

He explained one of the first things his wife had done once they had settled in was to take their children to the library to “get their library cards.” The children also spent some time playing in Library Park enjoying the fountain. Meanwhile Fire Chief Brad Dover, who had been acting as the interim city manager said, “It is great to get back. I have a department to run.”
