UPDATE: Search for Monrovia Resident Amanda Custer Concentrated in Mount Baldy Area

Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department (LASD) Homicide Investigators are asking the community in and around Mount Baldy to remain vigilant in looking for Amanda Custer, as continued investigation revealed that Robert Anthony Camou’s vehicle, a 2017 four-door, magnetic gray Toyota Prius (CA License Plate 8AOR167), was reported to have been last seen just shortly after the domestic violence incident on Monday, July 29, 2019, at about 9 a.m. The suspect’s vehicle traveled north on Padua Road in Claremont toward Mount Baldy.

Anyone on or off road, in the area of Mount Baldy (Mount Baldy Road, Glendora Ridge Road, Glendora Mountain Road) on Monday July 29, 2019, between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., that observed Camou, Custer and/or the Toyota Prius, are encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau.

In addition, LASD homicide investigators are aware of a video being circulated that depicts Camou rapping. Investigators are encouraging anyone present during the recording or who saw Camou the evening of July 29/30, 2019, to please contact Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau.

Camou currently remains held without bail on unrelated burglary and domestic violence charges.

Although the extent of Custer’s injuries are unknown, homicide detectives believe she may be in grave danger. Custer is a white female, stands at 5-foot-8, weighs 140 pound and has brown hair and green eyes.
