Editor’s Note: A previous version of this article posted on Tuesday, June 23, said Mr. Ellington was still missing. That article has been deleted and replaced with this corrected version.

On Saturday, June 20, the Arcadia Police Department located Steven Ellington, a 59-year-old, African American man who had gone missing on June 17 at approximately 7 p.m. in the area of Huntington Drive and Baldwin Avenue, in the city of Arcadia. His family believed he had boarded a Metro or Foothill Transit bus.

Ellington has a cognitive disability and authorities feared he would be unable to identify himself, or return home on his own.

Arcadia PD said Ellington would be reunited with his family.
