At 7:49 a.m., an officer took a telephonic report of a vehicle burglary that occurred in the 1700 block of South Third Avenue. The victim discovered someone had smashed his front passenger window and stolen his wallet, cash, and various credit and debit cards sometime between 2 and 7 a.m. on May 24.
At 1:58 p.m., an officer responded to the 1200 block of South Golden West Avenue regarding a possible stolen vehicle report. Pasadena Police Department had stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation and discovered it may have been an un-reported stolen vehicle out of the City of Arcadia. Upon contacting the registered owner, the officer discovered the vehicle had been stolen and the owner was unaware. The suspect(s) were arrested by Pasadena Police Department and the vehicle was returned to the owner.
May 25
At 6:34 a.m., an officer took a telephonic report of a residential burglary report that occurred in the 300 block of East Floral Avenue. The victim discovered a tool box containing miscellaneous tools and a box of antique silverware had been stolen from her secured garage. There were no signs of damage to the lock or indicators of forced entry. There is no suspect information at the time of this report.
At 11:28 a.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 00 block of East Rodell Place regarding a tampering report. The victim discovered her mail box lock had been broken and her mail was missing. There is no suspect information at this time.
May 26
At 8:39 a.m., an officer received a telephonic report of a commercial burglary that had occurred earlier in the morning at a dental office at 118 Las Tunas Drive. Surveillance footage revealed a lone suspect, described as a Hispanic male wearing dark clothing, was seen shattering the front glass door and entering the business. The victim discovered a computer and a Ring surveillance camera were stolen.
At 9:46 a.m., an officer received a telephonic report of a commercial burglary that occurred at Ming Zhu Investments, located at 20 E. Foothill Blvd. Surveillance footage revealed two white male suspects entered the office and fled with coffee and a pair of shoes. The investigation is pending a review of the surveillance footage.
May 27
At 11:46 a.m., an officer took a report of a theft from vehicle that occurred at Mama’s Kitchen, located at 153 E. Duarte Road. The victim stated she left her vehicle unlocked and one of the windows was halfway down while she went into the restaurant. When the victim returned home, she discovered her backpack had been stolen. Her backpack contained her wallet, cash, and identifiable information. There is no suspect information at the time of this report.
At 4:26 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 500 block of South Fifth Avenue regarding a fraud report. The victim discovered the unknown suspect(s) opened fraudulent stock purchasing accounts overseas without her permission then accessed her savings account and withdrew a large sum of money. The victim does not know the identity of the suspect(s) or how they obtained her personal information. There is no suspect information at this time.
May 28
At 2:47 a.m., an officer responded to Neighborhood Music, located at 25 S. First Ave., regarding a commercial burglary report. The reporting party was skating by when he saw the front window had been smashed and he heard, what appeared to be, someone walking in the broken glass that had fallen inside the business. The business owner responded and confirmed that one guitar had been stolen. The investigation is pending a review of the surveillance footage.
At 11:30 a.m., an officer responded to CVS, located at 1401 S. Baldwin Ave., regarding a theft investigation. Surveillance footage revealed three male suspects stole more than $4,600 worth of cosmetics from the store. All three suspects are described as males of an unknown ethnicity, approximately 5-foot-8 to 6 feet tall, and all were seen wearing dark colored clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
May 29
At 8:43 a.m., an officer received a telephonic report of a vehicle burglary that occurred at ServPro of Monrovia, located at 11631 Clark St. An investigation revealed the suspect(s) forcibly broke into a company box trailer that was parked behind the location. The investigation is pending a review of their surveillance footage.
At 1:11 p.m., an officer responded to Arcadia 210 Self Storage, located at 324 N. Second Ave., regarding a theft from vehicle report. The victim left his vehicle unlocked with the windows down while he entered the storage facility. Upon returning, he discovered his cellphone had been stolen. There is no suspect information at this time.
May 30
At 11:30 a.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 2500 block of Woodruff Way regarding a vandalism report. Sometime between 5 p.m. on May 27 and 9 a.m. on May 28, an unknown suspect cut the victim’s tire with an unknown tool. There is no suspect information at this time.
At 3:06 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 600 block of West Huntington Drive regarding a vandalism report. The victim discovered someone had used an unknown item to scratch the hood and passenger side of his vehicle. The incident occurred sometime between May 26 at 6 a.m. and May 28 at 6 a.m. There is no suspect information at the time of this report.
