June Colman is the Arcadia 2020 Senior of The Year. Over the past 20 years Colman has volunteered for the Friends of the Library and has run, single-handedly, the volunteer program that runs the Friends Bookstore. Without Colman’s tireless efforts, the Library and the community would see fewer collections, services, and programs. Colman’s quiet perseverance and dedication in keeping the Friends Bookstore well stocked with well-trained volunteers, directly and indirectly, gives back to the community every single day and provides the community with a very well-regarded Library that serves almost 500,000 people yearly.
