Moonlight Forest Returns to Arboretum More Spectacular Than Ever

The magical lantern art festival unveils new and interactive displays on Nov. 9.  The Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden (301 N. Baldwin Ave.) brings back the Moonlight Forest for a second year due to overwhelming support from the community. This year the Moonlight Forest is bigger and brighter than ever with two new themes, Polar Dreams and Ocean Visions. Step into a winter wonderland with our new Polar Dreams experience featuring playful penguins and cuddly sled dogs. Next, dive under the sea with exotic fish and giant sharks in our Ocean Visions exhibit.

The event will run from Wednesday – Sunday, November 9, 2019 – January 12, 2020 from 5:30pm-10pm.

Tickets will be required upon entry. Ticket sale for general admission are $28 adults; $25 seniors (62+); $25 students; $23 children (3-17). Sales for tickets to participate will be open on October 15, 2019 at arboretum.org

For directions via public transportation take the Gold Line to the Arboretum. When you get off the train, look for the Arcadia Transit shuttle and take the Green Line. Public transportation also is available on Metro buses. Please check bus schedules.
