The Monrovia Association of Fine Arts (MAFA) has been hard during the past few months as they work to coordinate the 53rd annual Celebrate the Arts Show & Chalkfest, which is scheduled to take place on Oct. 29-30 at Library Park in Old Town Monrovia. This year’s event theme is “Art in Motion,” and the featured artists’ will be Steve & Marianne McCarthy. On Saturday, Oct. 29 activities will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., while Sunday’s events on Oct. 30 will occur from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
