Free Concerts Continue Through Summer

There are still several free concerts left in all three series this summer. Two of the series are held at State Square Park and the third is the traditional Sunday concerts in Library Park. The concerts remaining are as follows:

Library Park Concert Series: Sundays from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

– Aug. 7 – Timebomb – rocking hits from 1975 to 1985.

– Aug. 14 – Stone Soul – Motown.

– Aug. 21 – The Smokin’ Cobras – rockin’ oldies.

– Aug. 28 – Boyz and the Beez – Country swing.

Station Square Park Concerts: Gold Line Station every Wednesday evening from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.

– Aug. 10 – Birdie’s Playhouse – children’s music.

– Aug. 17 – Upstream – world music.

Station Square Concerts – Tribute Band Series: Thursday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

– Aug. 4 – Mirage – visions of Fleetwood Mac.

– Aug. 18 – Doobies, Inc. – Doobie Brothers tribute band.
