The annual Spring Egg Hunt and Healthy Kids Day event will be held this Saturday. It will again be held in Recreation Park with activities beginning at 9:45 a.m. and continuing through to 1 p.m.
There will be a full day of activities for the whole family as well of lots of good information, special egg hunts for youngsters from newborns to 16 year olds. There will also be special activities for everyone from toddlers to tens, carnival games, face painting, a petting zoo, arts and crafts and even a visit from what the city calls the “Spring Bunny” (we know his real title). Of course Monrovia Reads will be on hand with a book for each child.
In addition there will be wellness activities sponsored by the YMCA and great health information from local service providers.
Recreation Park is located at 620 South Shamrock between Lemon and Olive Avenues on the north and south and between Shamrock and Mountain on the West and East respectively.
