Chris Holden Clear Victor in 41st Assembly District

Assemblyman Chris Holden will retain his seat in the State Assembly with more than 63 percent of the votes cast.

The closest challenger, Casey Higgins received 25.32 percent, with the other two candidates garnering less than 6 percent each.

This will be Holden’s second term in the Assembly.

Prior to his election to the assembly, Holden was the second longest serving member of the Pasadena

City Council having served from 1989 to 1999.

The life-long resident of Pasadena and father of five served as Pasadena’s mayor starting in 1997.
