On Monday, May 9, the City of Arcadia started a roadway improvement project along Foothill Boulevard. The project will take place on Foothill Boulevard between Michillinda Avenue and Santa Anita Avenue, and will include the removal and replacement of deteriorated roadway, sidewalks, and other maintenance activities.

The construction will last through mid-August 2016. The work will result in sporadic lane closures, however, a minimum of one travel lane in each direction of Foothill Boulevard will remain available at all times. Given the improvement work that is being contemplated, all motorists should expect delays along Foothill Boulevard in Arcadia during construction.
