One Picture Is Worth a Thousand Words; Two Are Priceless

At approximately 2:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015, Monrovia firefighters and police responded to a 911 call of smoke in an apartment west of Mayflower on Foothill Blvd., where firefighters also saved at least three small dogs from the burning building.

Monrovia firefighter Randy Townes administered oxygen to one of several small dogs who suffered from smoke inhalation as a result of the fire Thursday afternoon in the city of Monrovia.  Firefighters quickly put out the fire and no other injuries were reported.
