Arcadia Purse Thieves Strike Again

The Arcadia Police Department has reported recent purse thefts that occurred in the parking lots of the 99 Ranch Market (1300 S. Golden West) and the Arcadia Super Market (645 W. Duarte Rd).
These thefts occurred when unsuspecting shoppers left belongings behind in a shopping cart while placing merchandise in their vehicle. The suspect(s) approached the victims, grabbed the property, and fled the area.
In the event you do become a victim of such a theft, try to remain calm and get a description of the suspect(s) if possible. Please call 911 immediately and report the crime to authorities.
If you see suspicious persons or vehicles, please make a note of the make/model/color of the car or description of the person(s) and always call in ANY and ALL suspicious activity to Temple Sheriff’s Station at (626) 448-9861 or (626) 285-7171.
Should you witness a crime in progress, call 911.
