Annual Taste of Arcadia draws record numbers this year

It seems there are more “ Taste of…” events than ever before this year but one always stands out from the crowd – The splendid Taste of Arcadia.
Last year’s outdoor event at the Los Angeles County Arboretum drew a record 1,300 attendees and more than 90 vendors and entertainers. This year’s event far exceeded that according to organizers.
The weather, a little warmer than usual, was perfect for the annual shindig that has become one of the most popular of its kind in the Los Angeles area.

Lounge-O-Rama band played swing, Big Band and Standards early in the evening, and shifting to classic pop and rock after dark; Daniela Brazil and her popular exotic Brazilian dancers were also a big hit as usual; MonArc Face/Body Painting and Balloon Animals; and the Arcadia High School drum line serenaded attendees as they arrived.

A percentage of proceeds from Taste of Arcadia go to local non-profit organizations — $5 per ticket for every ticket sold by a pre-approved organization.
