Pasadena Police Officer Okamoto Placed on Paid Leave
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating Pasadena Officer Okamoto not the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office as we had reported earlier.
Chief Sanchez met with Officer Okamoto regarding the complaint as well as the Sheriff’s Department which is conducting the investigation.
Chief Sanchez decided that, due to the seriousness of the complaint, Officer Okamoto was to be placed on “Paid Leave” until the completion of the investigation.
Upon Chief Sanchez’ review of the completed investigation, he will determine what the next step will be in this matter.
