Arcadia’s First Female Mayor, Floretta Lauber, Honored For 50 Years of Community Service

Arcadia Mayor Gary Kovacic surprised Beacon Media’s social columnist
Floretta Lauber by proclaiming May 4, Floretta Lauber Day during a special ceremony at Arcadia Woman’s Club Wednesday.
Lauber was honored by the District Federation of Woman’s Club’s and received special recognition and a pin from Toby Kahan, CWWC and Linda Koontz SGVD President.

Keynote speaker for the event was Arcadia City Manager Don Penman who brought the guest up to speed on happenings at city hall!
