Since Council Member Tom Adams has filed to run for Mayor rather than reelection, the filing period for his council seat has been extended from this Friday, January 16, to next Wednesday. While nine people pulled the necessary paperwork to run for the Council, only three have completed the filing process including the other incumbent Becky Shevlin.
Since Mayor Mary Ann Lutz has filed for reelection, and since two others, including Adams, have filed for that office, the filing period for Mayor will close on Friday.
