Pasadena Museum of History invites all to a family free day and special holiday shopping event on Sunday afternoon, December 7, 12:00 to 4:00 pm.
With activities that will entertain and delight visitors of all ages and interests, it’s a perfect outing that combines great shopping opportunities with seasonal entertainment, hands-on crafts, delectable samples of gourmet treats, and the opportunity to enjoy the beauty and artistry of our current fine art exhibition.
Admission is Free. Pasadena Museum of History is located at 470 W. Walnut St., Pasadena 91103 (corner of Walnut St., and Orange Grove Blvd.). Gourmet Showcase
Locally produced gourmet foods will be featured with an opportunity to taste complimentary samples. These Pasadena favorites will all be available for purchase through the Museum Store to stock your cupboards, prepare for guests, or delight your friends and family this holiday season. Food vendors featured in the Gourmet Showcase include:

Fine Art – Crafts – Music
Enjoy the invitational, juried, fine art exhibition Contemporary Masters, Artist Eden IV, which features scenes of the San Gabriel by nationally-recognized representational artists. Visitors can meet some of these artists — including Valerie Carson, Bridget Duffy, Jim Fitzgerald, Mark Melnick, Rick Rotante, David Sikes, Duke Windsor, and Mark Woods – who will be on hand to discuss their art and answer questions.

What’s a holiday event without music and crafts? Music by Ad Hoc Consort at 1:00 and 2:00 pm. will provide seasonal ambience. Meanwhile, visitors can release their own creativity at an Art2Go workshop for the whole family with Helen Marish. Craft your own play-clay “holiday sweet treat” such as a gingerbread person, candy cane, Passover macaroon, doughnut, or a New Year’s fortune cookie.
