Dear Editor:
Today, I received my sample ballot. To my dismay, our Assemblyman for the 49th Assembly District didn’t even bother to include a ballot statement. Thus, all I know about him is his title. And, that’s not enough. On the other hand, his opponent, Esthela Torres Siegrist, respected us the voters and did include a very informative ballot statement.
