“JACKIE GIBSON & FRIENDS” is not your everyday Cabaret/Jazz show. This is an evening that has been decades in the making. Ms. Gibson is a popular vocalist who has made music in the Los Angeles area for more than three decades. A native Angeleno, Gibson has traveled many different musical circles and musical styles over the years and on Saturday night, July 19, all of the different worlds and influences will meet for this unique once in a lifetime evening.
Joining Gibson will be friends, old and new: some representing relationships stretching back for as long as thirty years. Cabaret Icons WAYNE MOORE and BRENDA SILAS MOORE will be reuniting with Jackie for the first time in years. Fellow Jazz vocalists, TOM CULVER and LARRY DAVIS, will also be joining Ms. Gibson onstage. Also, the acclaimed vocal Jazz trio “CHAMBERS, HERBERT & ELLIS”, who recently received a love letter review from the famed Don Heckman, will join the roster. Rounding out the evening, will be a brief appearance by Jackie’s director and producing partner, CLIFFORD BELL. Jackie and Clifford recently created the very popular JAZZ DEL CORAZON series of Musical Charity Events raising money to support local musicians in need.
