The coroner’s office has identified the boy fatally struck by a pickup truck Saturday night as a seven-year-old from Rowland Heights.
Aidan Tam was taken to Huntington Hospital where he died from his injuries, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner.
The collision happened in a crosswalk on Hill Avenue at Colorado Boulevard around 7:30 p.m. Saturday evening. According to Pasadena police, a family of four was crossing east across Hill Avenue when the boy was struck by a pickup truck traveling north on Hill Avenue.
No one else was injured and the driver did not appear intoxicated according to reports.
