In 2013 Prop. 8 was overturned by the Supreme Court. Fallen LASD Deputy David March’s memorial was destroyed and rededicated and schools throughout the area were targets of many bogus threats of violence including bomb and AK47 assault rifle threats. The suspects in all the hoaxes were arrested shortly after the crimes. Meanwhile over 200 people, including firefighters, were contaminated during a HazMat situation in Monrovia in December.
