Massage Envy clinics nationwide are participating in a Healing Hands For Arthritis Campaign that will benefit the more than 50 million people affected by the oftentimes debilitating disease. On September 19, 2012, Massage Envy will donate $10 dollars of every massage or facial to the Arthritis Foundation.
The statistics are staggering. Approximately 300,000 children are affected by the chronic pain and disability of arthritis or a related disease, more than those suffering from juvenile diabetes, cystic fibrosis, cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy combined.
Known for giving back to the community, most recently local Massage Envy clinics partnered with non-profit California Philharmonic at its Festival on the Green at Santa Anita Race Track by donating free chair massages at the concerts that promote music appreciation and education.
