Man with mental health disorder goes missing in Duarte

A 24-year-old man with a mental health disorder went missing in Duarte over the weekend and authorities continued seeking the public’s help Monday in locating him.

Devan Nesmith was last seen 4:30 p.m. Friday on the 2300 block of Mountain Way, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported. His family is concerned for his well-being.

Nesmith is Black, 6 feet tall, 239 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and black basketball pants.

Anybody with information on Nesmith’s whereabouts was asked to contact the LASD Missing Persons Detail, 323-890-5500, or anonymously via Crime Stoppers, 800-222-8477.
