The County of Riverside Treasurer-Tax Collector Office is scheduled to begin its annual tax sale on Thursday, April 23, and conclude on Tuesday, April 28, hosted online by Bid4Assets.com.
“Our office is committed to delivering a tax sale process that is transparent, secure, and efficient,” said Riverside County Treasurer-Tax Collector Matthew Jennings. “The online auction format modernizes the experience, increases participation, and makes bidding more accessible than ever.”

The sale follows a process established by revenue and taxation codes to ensure proper notice and a public hearing before approval by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors, which took place on Jan. 13.
This year’s Tax Sale will include 826 tax-defaulted parcels, each representing a property with its own history. According to Riverside County, it provides options, notifications, and resources to property owners in advance of the sale process.
Parcels offered vary in location, size, and potential use. To encourage participation, 25 fee parcels will have a minimum bid of $100 and four fee parcels a minimum bid of $500, in accordance with state law.
The parcels that do not receive bids during the initial offering may be re-offered on Friday, April 24, at 9 a.m. at a reduced minimum bid, consistent with statutory guidelines.
For bidders who do not have internet access, they may contact Bid4Assets to obtain an Offline Bidding Form by calling (877)427-7387.
