The office for the Women, Infants and Children, or WIC program has relocated to the Ronald R. Arias Health Equity Center, 6335 Myrtle Ave. in North Long Beach.

According to the Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services, this new location improves accessibility and aligns with the agency’s efforts to manage facility costs while maintaining services in the city’s northern section.

Program hours remain Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., officials said. All services, including in-person appointments and support by phone, continue as usual. WIC services have continued uninterrupted during the office relocation.

“All current WIC clients have been notified and do not need to take any action,” according to the city’s announcement. Appointments remain scheduled as planned.

The previous program office was at 5166 Atlantic Ave., also in North Long Beach.
