The Citrus Heritage Run — a half marathon, 10K, 5K, and 1-mile kids’ race — is to take off on Saturday. This unique and “sweet-smelling” course winds through the historic orange groves of California Citrus State Historic Park at Arlington Heights Sports Park, located at 9401 Cleveland Ave. in Riverside.
As one of the most scenic course routes in Southern California, you will experience breathtaking views of surrounding mountain ranges and skyline as you inhale the smell of sweet citrus and orange blossoms beginning to bloom.
Citrus Heritage Run offers tech-fabric long-sleeve tees in men’s, women’s, and youth sizes, finisher medals, and age group awards. Along the course, runners will find entertainment (live bands) and several hydration stops. At the finish line, runners will be greeted with music by a live band and post-race refreshments which include freshly squeezed orange juice from a local orange grove, as well as warm food, a celebratory beer and hand-crafted mimosas.
