Yucaipa Regional Park hosts ‘Bear Necessities’ learning activity

Visit Yucaipa Regional Park on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon and explore some “beary” important safety tips and tricks when a bear is nearby and learn how to identify the different types of bears native to the region.

Forget about your worries and your strife when you learn some “paws-itively” wild facts about bears native to North America. Attendees will also learn how to respect local wildlife neighbors and conduct a field experiment.

Admission is $15 per vehicle and free for those camping at Yucaipa Regional Park. All ages and leashed pets are welcome. All supplies will be provided while they last.

Yucaipa Regional Park is located at 33900 Oak Glen Road in Yucaipa. Park hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pack a lunch for the whole family and explore the great outdoors before or after the activity.
