Cruising Back 2 Route 66, an annual car show that takes place in downtown Azusa, returns Nov. 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This free event is not only for car enthusiasts, but it is also a kid’s toy drive with vendors, live music, and awards.
From 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. the following streets will be impacted:
- Foothill Boulevard – Closed between Vernon and Dalton avenues.
- San Gabriel Avenue – Closed between 6th and 9th streets.
- Azusa Avenue – Closed between 5th and 9th streets.
- Alameda Avenue – Closed between 6th and 9th streets.
A public parking garage within walking distance of the event is available. From the 210 Freeway, exit Citrus Avenue and head north to Foothill Boulevard and head west (left) to Dalton Avenue. Head north (right) on Dalton Avenue and then west (left) on 9th Street. The parking structure will be to the left on the south side of 9th Street. Visitors are also encouraged to take the Metro Gold Line to Azusa and walk one block to the event.
