The City of Glendale and Glendale Library, Arts & Culture present the annual Día de Los Muertos celebration Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Glendale Central Library (222 E. Harvard St.). This free, family-friendly event invites the community to honor loved ones and celebrate life through music, dance, storytelling and cultural activities. The event features performances and hands-on experiences for all ages.
Schedule & Activities:
3 to 6 p.m. – Face painting/Maquillaje de calavera
3:30 to 4 p.m. – Bilingual storytime/Hora de cuentos bilingüe
4 p.m. -Opening remarks/Palabras de apertura
4:15 to 5 p.m. – Coaxochitl (Aztec dancers)
5:15 to 6 p.m. – Ballet Folklórico México Azteca
6:15 to 7 p.m. – Miramonte Elementary Little Kids Rock
7 p.m. – Closing Remarks / Palabres de cierre
