Four men allegedly forced their way through the front door of an Arcadia home through Wednesday, tying up victims and stealing valuable items, police reported.
The Arcadia Police Department received reports of an armed home invasion robbery around 12:54 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of West Foothill Boulevard, near Michillinda Avenue.
APD investigators discovered that one suspect was armed with a firearm and another was armed with a knife. Two victims were tied up inside the house as the suspects allegedly stole jewelry and the victims’ vehicle. The alleged robbers then drove eastbound out of the area.
The victims were able to free themselves after the suspects left, and one victim sought help from a neighbor.
Paramedics treated the victims at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The violent robbery remained under investigation Wednesday evening as detectives processed evidence at the scene.
Authorities located the stolen vehicle in the Pico-Union district of Los Angeles in the 1400 block of Olympic Boulevard, two blocks west of the Harbor (110) Freeway.
