Kidspace Children’s Museum is sponsoring the City of Pasadena’s Celebration of the Young Child. The week-long celebration honoring Pasadena’s designation as a City of Early Learning kicks off with a free fall festival on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Brookside Park and Kidspace Museum.

This free community celebration is designed for children ages 0-5 and their families and caregivers.

At 10:30 a.m., Kidspace will host a special presentation by Pasadena city officials on the stage in the museum courtyard, followed by a Halloween costume parade at 11 a.m.

Brookside Park will feature a Touch-A-Truck area, a community resource fair with interactive spaces for children, food trucks offering food for purchase, and a family picnic and play area.

Kidspace is open with free admission during the festival and is launching the Halloween Bash. Join the rollicking costume parades, make a monster to take home, and cruise on a trike through a kooky Halloween house. Kick off the spooky season with a day packed full of monstrously fun family memories. Costumes are encouragedc

Kidspace Halloween activities will be geared to children 6 and under. There will be a second Halloween parade at 1 p.m., and the museum will close at 2 p.m. Museum admission is not guaranteed and is subject to capacity.
