San Bernardino County Animal Care has announced that animal shelter services that include lost and found pets as well as intake for unincorporated High Desert communities have moved to the Devore Animal Shelter, according to Supervisor Paul Cook’s office.

The facility is at 19777 Shelter Way in San Bernardino.

Residents who need dog licensing can apply at animalcare.sbcounty.gov or in person at the Jerry Lewis High Desert Government Center, 15900 Smoke Tree St., Suite 131 in Hesperia, or at the Hesperia Health Center, 16453 Bear Valley Road.

Officials encouraged community members who have lost or found a pet to report it at PetcoLoveLost.org, verify their service area online, search the county’s lost pet database, visit the Devore Animal Shelter or contact Animal Care field services by calling 800-472-5609.

Information is also available about the Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return program for community cats.

Residents can support the program by adopting, fostering, volunteering, donating and spaying or neutering pets.

More information is available by calling 909-386-9820 or visiting animalcare.sbcounty.gov.
