A do-wop-rock themed fundraiser to benefit victims of the Eaton Fire is set for Friday at Matt Denny’s Ale House in Arcadia.

The event — billed as “Community in Unity featuring the songs of the Brill Building” — will feature live performances of music by Carole King, Neil Sedaka, “the girl groups,” Bobby Darin, Connie Francis and Brenda Lee, organizers said.

“Shine your saddle shoes, get your Brylcream and rat tail comb,” musician and fundraiser participant Erik Ekstrand posted on social media. “Be ready to rock the night away for a good cause!”

Three sets will run between 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. at the tavern, located at 145 E. Huntington Drive in Arcadia. Reservations are available via 626-462-0250.

Donations via Zelle me be sent to gibbyj88@gmail.com.
