Monrovia’s Canyon Park Nature Center is set to reopen Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. The grand opening event will feature crafts for kids, interactive stations, light refreshments and a live animal show-and-tell.
The newly refreshed nature center includes:
- new interactive displays;
- enhanced wildlife exhibit;
- detailed history of Canyon Park; and
- a new exhibit that will change out seasonally.
Reservations are no longer required for weekend visits to Canyon Park, 1200 N. Canyon Blvd. The park is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the vehicle gate closes at 6 p.m. daily.
