The City of Baldwin Park families can enjoy the Street Market in the Park series from June 12 Aug. 21. On Thursday nights from 5 to 9 p.m. at Morgan Park, attendees can enjoy diverse food and artisan vendors, a lineup of live music and entertainment from 7 to 9 p.m., a special beer garden and free kids activities.
“We are excited to host our iconic Street Market in the Park series for the whole community to enjoy,” said Baldwin Park Mayor Alejandra Avila. “This cherished event is a highlight of the summer, as residents and visitors alike come together to enjoy live entertainment, delicious food and great company.”
Street Market in the Park will kick off on June 12 in conjunction with a special Pride Month celebration. The event will open with a resource fair and mixer from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a Pride performance by the Da 80z Retro from 7 to 9 p.m. DJ Angie Vee will open the musical performances for the evening starting at 5 p.m.
“By kicking off the Street Market with the city’s Pride Month celebration, Baldwin Park is highlighting its commitment to inclusivity and diversity,” continued Mayor Avila. “We are proud to grow this community event to include more local businesses and a wide variety of talent.”
The summer lineup promises something for everyone, including performances from Grammy Award-winning Latin jazz legend Poncho Sánchez and regional Technobanda icons Banda Machos. The full performing lineup for the Street Market in the Park series includes:

- June 19: Banda La Fantastica (Banda)
- June 26: Cadetes De Linares De Memo Cavada (Norteño)
- July 10: Vilma Diaz Y La Sonora (Cumbia)
- July 17: Sweet & Tender Hooligans (Smiths & Morriseey Tribute)
- July 24: Banda Machos (Technobanda)
- July 31: Ray Carrion & Thee Latin All Stars: Pepe Marquez, Mariah Avila, Elvia Cadena & Norman Carter (Oldies)
- Aug. 7: Poncho Sanchez (Latin Jazz)
- Aug. 14: Los Deakino (Cumbia Sonidera)
- Aug. 21: Sonora Santanera La Nueva Sangre (Tropical)
