Club de Futbol Monterrey (Rayados) is set to make its mark in Southern California this June as part of the FIFA Club World Cup USA 2025. In addition to competing in three group stage matches at the Rose Bowl Stadium against Inter Milan (Italy), River Plate (Argentina), and Urawa Red Diamonds (Japan), Rayados will host a community event putting on a day of adaptive sports in partnership with Angel City Sports on Sunday, June 15, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McCambridge Park, located at 1515 N. Glenoaks Blvd. in Burbank. Angel City Sports is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit that provides free year-round adaptive sports opportunities for youth, adults, and veterans with physical disabilities or visual impairments.
The June 15 event will provide an inclusive soccer experience for individuals of all abilities.
Event highlights will include:
- A meet-and-greet with club legend Jesús Zavala
- Fun and interactive moments with mascot Monty
- Official Rayados merchandise giveaways for all participants
- Adaptive sports opportunities in amputee soccer, powerchair soccer, and wheelchair football, led by Angel City Sports, with wheelchair football powered by the Angel City Sports LA Rams Wheelchair Football Team

Rayados’ presence in Los Angeles is expected to draw thousands of fans and shine a spotlight on passion, inclusivity, and the club’s mission to build community through sport.
