The Riverside Youth Council has announced the city’s 25 Most Remarkable Teens for 2025.
The Youth Council is coordinated in partnership between the mayor’s office and the Riverside Police Department. The annual Most Remarkable Teens event recognizes Riverside middle and high school students for excellence in academics, athletics, arts and culture, community involvement, leadership, courage to overcome, acts of valor or any other noteworthy accomplishments.
Youth Council members review and select the honorees, who are set to be recognized in a ceremony at the City Council meeting on Tuesday beginning 4:45 p.m. at 3900 Main St. in downtown Riverside.
The mayor and City Council established the Youth Council in 2004 “as a means of expression and leadership development for the city’s youth,” according to a city statement. “The program aims to encourage Riverside’s best and brightest to have a voice in public policy and other decision-making that directly impact the lives of young people.”
