An amateur boxing exhibition is scheduled for next month in Riverside, the city announced.

The city’s Riverside Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department will host the event in Bryant Park sanctioned by USA Boxing on Saturday, March 1, starting at noon.

Approximately 20 bouts in various weight categories are scheduled, featuring boxing clubs from throughout Southern California.

The event’s venue will be the park’s Arlanza Community Center, 7950 Philbin Ave.

Admission costs $15 per spectator 11 and older, $7 for children 5-10 and free for children younger than 4 years old with a paid adult. Eventgoers can partake from a snack bar and on-site vendors during the event.

For more information contact Raymond Aguirre, recreation services coordinator at Bryant Park, 951-351-6135 or RAguirre@riversideca.gov.
