Azusa Mayor Robert Gonzales joined Community Resources Employees Mayra Rico and Sonny Cravens on the maiden voyage of three all-electric vehicles last week.
The city applied for and received a grant in the amount of $30,000 ($10,000 each) from the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Committee’s (MSRC) and South Coast Air Quality Management District’s (SCAQMD) Clean Transportation Local Government Match Program for the purchase of three electric, light-duty vehicles.
