A 30-year-old Altadena man who authorities said has a mental health disorder went missing possibly during the Eaton Fire, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported Thursday.

Kevin Josue Coello-Hernandez, who lived in a fire zone, was last seen Jan. 7 around 4:45 p.m. at the intersection of Lake Avenue and Loma Alta Drive in Altadena, authorities said.

Coello-Hernandez is Latino, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 178 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue sweatpants and white shoes.

Coello-Hernandez is believed to have been displaced by the wildfire, and his family is concerned for his well-being, sheriff’s officials said.

Anyone with information on Coello-Hernandez’s whereabouts was asked to call the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau Missing Persons Detail, 323-890-5500. To leave anonymous tips, call 800-222-8477 or go to lacrimestoppers.org.
