The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department sought the public’s help Thursday in locating a 96-year-old Altadena woman who may have been displaced by the Eaton Fire.

Elizabeth Jane Behny was in last contact with her family Jan. 5 around noon and was last seen in the 2000 block of Pinecrest Drive, which is in Eaton Fire zone, authorities said.

Behny is white, 5 feet, 1-inch tall, weighing 92 pounds with gray hair and green eyes, according to the sheriff’s department.

Behny uses a walker, and her family is concerned about her well-being, officials said.

Anyone with information about Behny’s location was asked to call the Sheriff’s Homicide Missing Persons Detail, 323-890-5500. To report anonymously, call 800-222-8477 or use lacrimestoppers.org.
