Authorities have asked for the public’s help in locating a woman reported missing late last week in Monrovia.

Lisa Harell, 53, described as “an at-risk adult,” was last seen approximately 6 p.m. near the Oak Tree Inn, 788 W. Huntington Drive, according to the Monrovia Police Department. Harell walked away from the inn to search for a lost dog and has not been seen since.

Police said she has the mental capacity of a young child and is unfamiliar with the area. Harell is known to frequent parks and transit stations and may be in the company of transients.

Harell is Black, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, authorities said. She was last seen wearing a blue denim jacket, green pants and pink sandals and is not in possession of a phone, money or identification.

Monrovia police were unable to locate Harell after checking local parks, bus stops and hospitals, according to the department.

The California Highway Patrol has issued an Endangered Missing Alert.

Anyone with information that may help locate Harell was urged to contact the Monrovia Police Department, 626-256-8000, or if seen, to immediately call 911.
