West Covina kicks off the holiday season with Let It Snow
Kick off the holiday season with an unforgettable evening of fun, lights, and snow at the City of West Covina’s Let it Snow in West Co. event. The event is scheduled for Friday in the West Covina Civic Center Parking Lot located at 1444 W. Garvey Ave. South.
The festivities will begin at 6 p.m. with a variety of activities for all ages, including:
- Snow Zone: Experience the thrill of playing in real snow with sledding and snow play.
- Tree Lighting Ceremony: Gather with family and friends for the ceremonial lighting of the city’s holiday tree at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy the spectacular glow of the tree as it marks the start of the season’s festivities.
- Holiday Music & Performances: Delight in live music performances from local community groups and holiday carolers that will fill the air with festive cheer.
- Photo Opportunities: Don’t forget to snap a picture with Santa and capture the sparkling tree in all its holiday glory.
- Delicious Seasonal Treats: Warm up with hot chocolate and esquite for purchase to support the West Covina Community Services Foundation along with a variety of delicious holiday snacks from local vendors.
Whether you’re looking to play in the snow, enjoy great food, or simply bask in the glow of the tree, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Admission is free and the winter wonders will last until 9 p.m.
