Join the Monrovia Old Town Advisory Board and the City of Monrovia this holiday season for tons of events and activities for the whole family.
Santa Claus and his friends, atop a decorated fire engine escorted by a police car, and a decorated public works sleigh will tour each neighborhood from Dec. 9 to Dec. 13 from 5 to 9 p.m. For a detailed schedule of neighborhoods, visit monroviaca.gov/santa-tour.
Holiday carolers will fill Old Town with joyous music every Saturday in December from 3 to 6 p.m. and visitors can enjoy carriage rides every Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m.
To celebrate the New Year, Monrovia will host two family-friendly events on Dec. 31. Don’t want to stay up too late? “Noon Year’s Eve,” a family-friendly event, begins at 10 a.m. at Library Park (321 S Myrtle). There will be music, arts and crafts, and activities for the whole family. Night owls can head to Old Town on New Year’s Eve night at 10 p.m. to ring in the new year. There will be a live DJ, dancing, and lighting of the New Year’s Eve ball at midnight.
