Duarte celebrating the holidays with multiple magical events
The holidays are here, and Duarte has a sleigh full of festive events to keep your spirit bright. A list of city events and event information can be found on the city calendar at accessduarte.com/community/residents/city-facilities-rentals/city-calendar.
Through Dec. 18, 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. | Santa’s Mailbox (1600 Huntington Drive)
Send your wish list to Santa with the help of his special mailbox at Duarte City Hall. Drop off your letter during normal business hours (Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.), and do not forget to include your address so Santa can send a reply to all Duarte youth ages 10 and under.
Dec. 7, 8-10:30 p.m. | Breakfast with Santa (1600 Huntington Drive)
You and your family are warmly invited to join Santa for a festive breakfast. On this morning, the Duarte Rotary Club will be serving up delicious North Pole pancakes, while Santa himself poses for photos and his elves are hosting a fun craft station for all children to enjoy. Breakfast tickets can be purchased on site for a $5 donation per person.
Dec. 8, 5-8 p.m. | Snow Nite (2000 Buena Vista Street)
It is snow much fun! Bundle up and stop by Beardslee Park for Snow Nite, where you can enjoy 35 tons of snow, carnival rides, tasty eats, and more. Plus, Santa will be making a special appearance–don’t miss out on the holiday magic.
Dec. 17, 3-5 p.m. | Santa’s Hotline (2000 Buena Vista Street)
Have a burning question for Santa? Call (626) 386-6894 and speak directly to the jolly man at the North Pole. Whether it is a last-minute gift request or a special holiday wish, Santa is ready to chat and spread some Christmas cheer.
Dec. 18-19, 5-9 p.m. | Santa Claus is Coming to Duarte
You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout, I’m telling you why–Santa Claus is coming to Duarte. Hear those holiday jingles and sirens? That is your cue to step outside and wave as Santa makes his way through town.
Keep an eye on the “Santa Finder” at AccessDuarte.com, so you don’t miss the jolly old man himself. Make sure to check out the city’s social media for the routes Santa will be taking each evening.
