A 20-year-old man who authorities said has diminished mental capacities was reported missing and was last seen Monday in Duarte.
Juan Amezcua was last seen at 6:35 p.m. in the 2300 block of South Mountain Avenue, west of Maydee Street, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Amezcua is Latino, 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 190 pounds, has black hair, brown eyes, a moustache and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a yellow, brown and red checkered flannel shirt and beige Dickies-style pants.
Anyone who has seen Amezcua or has information on his whereabouts was asked to contact Detective Perez at the Sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit, 323-890-5500. Tipsters who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers, 800-222-8477, or report via lacrimestoppers.org.
