The 47th Annual Turkey Trot returns on Saturday at Vincent Lugo Park in San Gabriel to welcome runners and walkers of all ages.
Participants may do a 10K run, 5K run, 5K walk and a 1K kids run.
Awards and raffles will be held throughout the races, and all proceeds from the race go directly to improving youth programs in San Gabriel, according to city officials.
The event schedule is as follows:
6 a.m. — Pre-registration packet pickup; Day of registration opens
6:45 a.m. — 10K Run and 5K Walk registration closes
7 a.m. — 10K Run and 5K Walk starts
7:10 a.m. —5K Run registration closes
7:25 a.m. — 5K Run starts
8 a.m. —1K Youth Run registration closes
8:15 a.m. — 1K Youth Run starts
Age categories
1K — 8 & Under, 9-10, 11-13
5K — 13 & Under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
10K — 13 & Under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Packet pick-up is at the park on the morning of the event. A reminder email will be sent to all participants.
